The official trailer is out for Sweeney Todd. Laura's in the first part, looking pretty. Apparently, later in the film she goes mad and undergoes quite a physical transformation. And her singing will be done mostly as a crazy woman so her voice won't be quite as angelic as it is when she was playing Mary Poppins or Galadriel. It's release date is December 21, so should be a new twist on a Christmas movie ;)

i just watched the trailer. so she is the lovely girl, pictured here? wow, seems like a good-sized role. can't wait to see it! and thanks for the great update. I check your blog all the time and had just about given up hope that you would write more. and i'm super stoked that now we live closer. aron and i will have to plan a weekend road trip to LA to see you and meet martin. please come visit us here in the Big D. we have an extra bedrooom. :)
Wow, that's an intense little peek into the movie--I told Buck, I don't know if I'll be able to watch it in the theater! Maybe I'll just watch Laura's scenes and keep my hands over my eyes for the rest :o) She looks amazing in those opening scenes! It would be fun to wear those period costumes, well just fun to be in a movie at all :o) Exciting!
