a little progress

Pics of the work we've done on the hallway! Martin is the king of wallpapering and I'm the queen of painting stairs and spindles. We have 90 spindles, I've painted 40 so far.

Great work you guys. The transformation is lovely. It also looks like a lot of hard work. I painted 12 spindles and hated it. Thanks for the pictures.

Caelan is looking at these pics with me and she said, "What is it? Is it a castle?" :o) Looks great! So, did the ministry retreat paperwork not go through?

I love the colors! Very nice! It brightens up the place SO much. The doors in then entryway are beautiful.

I am so incredibly impressed. and you did it without me! :) What a beautiful renovation (does paint and wallpaper count as "renovation"?)

So the door looked better white? I kinda liked it dark, but I bet it would have looked strange dark when everything else was white.

Congratulations. A job well done. Rest up with a plate of buttered toast and some British reality TV. :)

Yah! I'm glad to see you've posted more on your blog. I like the before & after pics, and cow clumping story. Hey, I'm also a little envious that Laura gets to hang out with Johnny Depp, I've always liked him. Maybe you'll meet him at the premiere.

Um, most delightful place ever! The colors are gorgeous; looks very Pottery Barn or Restoration Harware-esque.

I'll be coming for a visit momentarily. Have my room ready. :)

Wow! I'm impressed. You guys should do this for a living. ;) It looks like a fancy hotel...we'd like a reservation for two, please.

Remember the TV show we were going to do to show remodeling and commentary on the spiritual lessons learned in the process? Like, "Wow! God can just speak things into existance and I go to physical therapy after a couple of projects!"

Well, it looks like you have plenty of your own material now. It looks great! A clean and restful place of beauty - just like God created the earth. Until the kids messed it up.

I miss you!
