I bet you've seen her on the telly. Nigella, the gorgeous, curvacious cook show host. She uses this fabulous curved chopper thingy that you use with both hands and rock it back and forth. It looked like so much fun, I had to have one. So I have it hanging on a hook in the kitchen. (I have used it a few times, too)
Today, I was cleaning near this treacherous gadget and I accidentally sliced two fingers on my right hand rather deeply. Martin came to my resuce and praised me for being brave while he bandaged me up. He's definitely got the gift of encouragement. Since he was working on renovating the bathroom, I decided to try to fix dinner left-handed. I am NOT a lefty, I'm a righty. But it was quite funny trying to chop an onion and boil some rice...sounds easy, but there's a bunch of rice on the kitchen floor that says differently. I was such a clumsy left-handed oaf, I made myself chuckle several times.
It actually hurts to type, so that's the end of this blog.

OUCH! I hope you are doing better! That sounds like a crazy kitchen utensil. I have a hard enough time with regular knives, in fact I just cut my finger yesterday. Isaac has to wear a bandaid on the same finger as Mommy does. Maybe I've gone too far with the matchy-matchy thing. :)
P, you are on a blogging roll...keep it up. I love to check here and see you have written new things about life in the UK. Sorry about your fingers, though...no fun!
