Anyway, so I'm blogging because I've been convicted by all of you goody two-shoes bloggers who are so diligent and perfect and committed to it. :P
Since all of my pictures are either still on my camera or trapped on our other broken computer, this was all I could find. It's from Ebay and it's the car that I'm shopping for. A 1994 Nissan Micra. They don't have them in the States. But it's perfect for island driving on narrow streets with really expensive petrol. It'll be my new white sports car to replace my 1994 Nissan Sentra.
Sometimes God gives us just what we need and sometimes that's good enough.

YAH!!!!!! You are a blogger again. I LOVE that little car! It's so cute and so you. I don't know if I could give up my mini-van...but for island living I think that's a great car. SO cute. I'm sure it's zippy. Don't get any tickets!
I have to admit--when I do my daily blog check for updates I have this inner monologue. "Alisa--possibly, Heather--busy writing, Changs--good chance, Patrice--unlikely, but worth a peek," and when your page opened up, I admit, I wondered if I'd clicked the wrong link :o) But after some investigation of surrounding information, there it was--Patrice's little dream car :o) Glad to see what's up on the Isle!
yeah, patrice...no tickets! (i seem to recall a few in the OC :)
love seeing a little snippet about your life...hope you sleep like a champ again soon! oh and girl...i have been horrible (if you want to pronounce it like me, harrrible) about keeping my blog updated...i am behind on a long trip to houston, friends from philly visiting, landscaping befores and afters, a roadtrip to FL, a visit from my bro, and a visit from my harley-riding friend from home, rich. so as events keep piling up, i am feeling super overwhelmed about the fact that i am not being a goodie two shoes blogger as of late...but as jess hinted at, i have been a busy bee with writing and the little one. sigh. hopefully soon i can throw a ton of pics on there and feel satisfied :) no worries, just blog when you can. we DO check though, as you now can see :)
Hey--there's no spoiler! But it has two more doors. So that's OK, then.
I went through the same pattern as Jess. How FUN you wrote again! :)
Hey, I'm showin' up on the Isle in FOUR WEEKS.
Question: my South African friend with English heritage answers the phone by saying his own name: "Noel-hello?" It's like he's saying hello to himself.
Is that an English thing? The Afrikaaners don't do it. It sounds weird to me.
Hey! I saw a Nissan Micra on the road today. Very cute in person, as well as in photo.

nope it's not an English thing. They say hello. Although it's a very upbeat, chipper hello as is all of their telephone etiquette. Across the nation, they ALL say "buy-eeeee" with a very high pitched happy tone to it. I do it now too. And I also say cling film instead of saran wrap now :)
What a cute car! It reminds me a lot of the Smart cars you see all over Europe...which I hear might make a debut in the U.S. ;)
Yah for Patrice's Nissan. I just bought a Nissan myself, but a bit bigger, an Altima.
